What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a passionate Product Development Manager who can lead product design and improvement, work effectively with the CMO, manage projects, and understand and meet consumer needs through feedback and testing.


Your day-to-day:

  • Lead the design and improvement of new products and existing products, ensuring they align with consumer and commercial requirements, clinical data, cost considerations, regulatory standards, aesthetics, packaging, and emerging industry trends.
  • Collaborate closely with the CMO to define and deliver the final product, addressing factors such as costs, size, feasibility, documentation, and market scalability.
  • Provide expertise in ensuring product stability, and specifying release analysis for both new and existing products.
  • Oversee project management for all New Product Development (NPD), cost-saving initiatives, and innovation projects.
  • Understand and address consumer needs by collecting and incorporating feedback on existing products and conducting consumer tests for new products, including flavor assessments and questionnaires.

Job requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in Product Development, preferably in a larger company specializing in OTC.
  • Preferred industries: specialize in the Food and Nutritional Supplements, as well as Over-the-counter (OTC) Healthcare sectors to contribute specialized knowledge and experience.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (BSc/BEng) to bring a solid foundation of technical knowledge to the role.
  • Innovation Experience: Demonstrate a track record of successfully driving innovation within companies, particularly in environments with robust quality systems and processes, emphasizing experience in a regulated setting.
  • Decision-Making Expertise: Exhibit a self-motivated approach to decision-making, relying on scientific data and insights to inform and guide strategic product development choices.
  • Possess a collaborative leadership style, fostering a team-oriented approach within the product development team and building strong connections with other departments to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Attention to Detail: showcase meticulous attention to detail, coupled with a scientific mindset and a structured work approach, to ensure the highest quality standards in product development
  • Display strong communication and influencing skills, essential for effectively conveying ideas within the team and influencing stakeholders at various levels
  • Prioritization and Decision-Making, illustrate the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and make well-informed decisions, showcasing a solid commercial understanding that aligns with business objectives.
