Every time you visit our website, our web server automatically recognizes only your domain name and not your e-mail address.
When you visit our website we will request and store:
- your e-mail address if you place messages/questions on this website;
- your e-mail address if you communicate this to us;
- the domain name of other websites you consulted to go to our website;
- all the information that you have provided voluntarily (e.g. research information and/or site-registration).
When placing your order we will request and store:
- your name and address details;
- your phone number if you communicate this to us;
- payment details via a secure payment gateway;
- if applicable, the type and the date of your bariatric surgery.
This information is used:
- to be able to deliver your order at your home;
- to process your payment;
- to contact you by telephone in case of lack of clarity or for service and advice purposes;
- to contact you for marketing purposes;
- to answer your question;
- to advise the correct type of WLS supplement associated with the type of bariatric operation.

The information is only used internally and is not passed on to other organizations for commercial purposes. Recorded data in an anonymous form can be used for scientific research purposes.
You can exercise your right to the following requests at any time:
- Request for modification of the already recorded data;
- Request for inspection of recorded data;
- Request for removal of recorded data.
Requests can be directed to our customer service by e-mail, letter and telephone. The data is saved according to the fiscal retention obligation of 7 years. The request for removal can only take place in the event of inactivity and when no outstanding payment obligations towards FitForMe exist.
If we transfer or receive your data on our website, we always use the encryption technologies that are recognised as accepted standards within the IT sector. If we receive or transfer certain critical information, such as financial information or health information, we use a secure server. You will be notified via a screen that is displayed on our website (pop-up). We have implemented the necessary security measures to prevent the loss, unlawful use or modification of information we receive on our website.

If you do not wish to receive e-mails from FitForMe in the future, please contact the Customer Service at the above e-mail address.
About communication by letter
If you provide FitForMe your postal address, you can receive periodic mailings with information about products and services. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please contact the Customer Service at the above address.
About communication by phone
If you provide FitForMe your telephone number, FitForMe will only contact you by telephone if this is necessary to inform you about the orders placed online or for service and advice purposes.
If you do not wish to receive addressed advertising and/or commercial telephone communication (anymore), you can make this known through our customer service.
FitForMe can use consumer information for new purposes that are not yet provided for in our privacy policy. In that case, we will contact you before using your data for these new purposes, to inform you of the changes to our personal data protection policy and to give you the opportunity to refuse your participation.
